Your Role

As an Accountant, you will join the Finance department and report directly to the Finance Manager. You will be responsible for maintaining our daily accounting cleanly and accurately.

Your Responsibilities

• Keep QuickBooks updated with precision and rigor
• Reconcile bank transactions and payment flows, including banks and payment processors
• Participate in monthly closes and balance sheet reconciliations
• Audit supplier invoices, payments, and open balances while identifying anomalies or duplicates
• Maintain organized and complete accounting files
• Update tracking schedules defined by our tax advisors according to their directives
• Produce regular reporting for the Finance Manager

This position requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the curiosity to investigate every discrepancy until it is resolved.

Candidate Profile

Required

• Bachelor's degree, Bac+3 minimum, in accounting, management, or finance
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience within a company or accounting firm
• Freelance experience will not be considered
• Excellent mastery of Excel or Google Sheets
• Strong written English proficiency, as the accounting is maintained in English
• Rigor, reliability, and attention to detail
• Ability to follow a checklist and improve it over time

Strongly Preferred

• Experience with QuickBooks
• Experience in e-commerce or with online payment processors such as Stripe
• Knowledge of multi-currency reconciliations
