Step 1: Remove the Stock Swivels
• Loosen the Webbing: Locate the triglide adjustment buckle near the end of the Stalker Sling strap. Push the nylon webbing toward the center of the buckle to create slack.
• Unthread the Strap: Work the free tail of the strap back out through the outer and inner slots of the triglide buckle until it is completely detached from the slider.
• Slide Off the Old Swivel: Once the strap is unthreaded, pull the original swivel straight off the end of the webbing. Repeat on the opposite end of the sling to remove both default swivels.
Step 2: Mount the New QR Swivels
• Orient the Hardware: Take your new replacement Quick Release (QR) swivel and ensure the locking release tab is facing outward (away from your body when the sling is worn).
• Thread the Loop: Pass the free end of the Stalker Sling webbing through the metal attachment loop of the new QR swivel.
• Re-weave the Triglide Buckle: Feed the strap tail up through the bottom slot of the triglide buckle, cross over the center bar, and push it back down through the top slot. Pull the tail firmly to lock the hardware in place without any twists in the strap.
Step 3: Tension Test & Finish Setup
• Perform a Tension Test: Firmly grasp the sling body with one hand and pull hard on the newly installed QR swivel to confirm the webbing locks under load and will not slip.
• Complete Both Sides: Repeat the mounting process for the swivel on the second strap end.
✔️ Installation Complete! Once both sides pass the pull test and lie completely flat, your Stalker Sling is fully upgraded and field-ready.
